About Mitchell Excavating
A Builder's Excavator, a Builder's Brain
Andy Mitchell owns and operates Mitchell Excavating. He's a former licensed residential General Contractor. Before that, he spent years as a construction foreman on a $45M greenfield mining facility. There he installed SAG, Ball & Rod mills, flotation cells, pumps and the piping that ties them together.
That heavy-industrial background helps us read sites the way builders do. We track drainage, slope, access and sequencing on every job. As a result, you get an excavator who already understands the trades coming behind us.
