How We Approach underground utilities Phoenix
Most of our utility work happens on new-construction lots. Multiple trades need their lines in the ground before pad and slab work goes vertical. As a result, we sequence the trenching so every trade gets a clean run. Meanwhile, we compact backfill properly under future driveways and structures. Sand bedding, warning tape and proper cover depth are standard on every run - not optional add-ons. So future locates and inspections never come back to bite the project. And because Andy spent years on heavy-industrial piping, our as-built measurements stay accurate enough to dig back to without guessing.
In addition, repairs, extensions and reroutes on existing properties are welcome. First we locate. Then we dig clean. Finally, we put the site back the way we found it. We also coordinate landscaping, hardscape and driveway restoration. So the finished job doesn't look like a trench ever ran through it.

Do you call in locates before you dig?+
Always. Arizona 811 (Bluestake) is mandatory and we won't break ground without it.
Can you trench for solar conduit runs?+
Yes. We trench, install the conduit per spec, and backfill - typically coordinated directly with the solar installer.
Do you do directional boring?+
We self-perform open-cut trenching. For boring under driveways or roads we coordinate a specialist sub.
What about gas line installation?+
Gas requires a licensed plumber by AZ code. We partner with a licensed plumbing contractor so we can deliver gas as part of the job.
Can you backfill with native soil?+
Where it's appropriate, yes. Where the line needs sand bedding or imported fill, we'll bring it in and compact in lifts.
